Easter

We don't normally dye eggs.  Most egg hunts we've had have involved plastic eggs.  But the kids are so grown up, they sort of just decide things and go with it.

Lucy saw the tie-dye method on Pinterest.  Basically, you use old 100% silk tyes, cut them up, wrap them around eggs, wrap white cotton around that, and rubberband it very tightly.  Then boil them in vinegar water.  After they cool, unwrap and voila!

So that was a fun first. :)

We did some old classic dye too.  It's so strange to not help them.  I just stand by and take pictures whilst they do everything on their own.

I have NO PICTURES of our first egghunt at Sherry and David's house with Mom and Paul.  I'm not sure why.  I have loads of video.

But at Dad and Janet's here is their field bountifully covered in eggs and goodie bags...

We spectate...

Counting their eggs so Grandad doesn't get one in his mower...

After sorting through their loot, the first thing they all settled down with was the new books they received :)

And this is just for cuteness sake...

The next morning we all went to Grandad and Grandmom's church for Resurrection Sunday!

He is Risen!!!!
