Aiden & Evan's Birthday Party

My cousin's boys recently had their 1st and 3rd birthday parties.  It was neat getting to see them and the kids all had a great time!

When Aiden was done with her, she found someone a little calmer that ;)  Baby Jackson stayed with her for quite some time!

Aiden, with his parents and grandma, getting ready to blow out his and Evan's candles!

I got tons more pics of Evan than Aiden because, well, Aiden is one energetic kid!!  My camera and legs weren't quite up to the challenge!  But here's some awesome Evan pics!

Opening presents!  Notice who's holding the baby ;)

We all enjoyed the party!

Happy Birthday, Boys!!

Saturday with Grandad and Grandmom

Clyde found that trying to be Grandad was exhausting!

Iris set up a classroom.

Here are just a couple of the students.

Lucy is playing '20 questions' with Grandad.  She guessed his object.  It was a Bible :)

Sherry took a selfie with me and Dad :)

Emilia's Signtacular

At least, I'm PRETTY sure it was called "Signtacular."  Emilia is part of the sign language club at her school and is considering going into a field working with the deaf community.   Recently, I attended the club's Signtacular... if that's indeed what it was called.

It was so cool!  And she did a FANTASTIC job!!  Between acts the audience waved their hands in the air instead of clapping, I assume this is how the deaf applaud.  Anyway, there were several acts, skits, songs, poetry, stories.  Emilia participated in the opening and closing songs, as well as a skit.

We were told not to take flash photography, or maybe more of my 30 pictures would have turned out.  But this is all you get ;)

AND I finally got to meet her boyfriend, Dillon!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year, the kids, Sherry and I went with Mom and Paul to their church.  Afterwords, Sherry had us all over to her house.  She and David had bought an inflatable pool so after her wonderful dinner, the kids had a blast getting waterlogged!

Here are Mom and the kids..

Stephen went to see his Momma for Mother's Day :)  I made him promise to take a picture, he came through!!  I love it!

Here is Grandmom with the kids and her cards!!

We planned my Mother's Day later in the week.  Stephen and the kids told me to stay out of my room... for quite a while :)  Then I went in to see my new bronze bathroom fixtures to match my new shower! (future blog entry) Oh yes, and the ring holder, from Iris :)
